Join us on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at The Rinx (at Hidden Pond Park in Hauppauge, NY) for the Stroll & Skate. Proceeds will benefit the Guide Dog Foundation's accredited guide and service dog programs.  Registration includes admission to stroll and skate.

Take an easy hike through Hidden Pond Park on our family-friendly 2-mile dog walk. (No dog? No problem! Just pack up the kids or bring a few friends and saunter around the park.) 

Ice Skate at the Rinx between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.  Fee includes skate rental.  (Don't feel like skating?  Receive a pass and come back to skate.  Pass valid until October 31, 2016)

Free BBQ lunch with admission includes hamburger or hot dog, chips & fountain drink offered between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on event day.

$25 Youth Registration (17 and under)

The Guide Dog Foundation relies on voluntary contributions to fund its mission. It costs over $50,000 to breed, raise, train, and place one assistance dog; however, there is never a charge to the individual.  

Fundraise for Stroll & Skate
Although it is not mandatory, we encourage participants to raise funds to help those we serve with visual disabilities.  After you register at, the site will create your own personalized fundraising page.  You can customize this page by adding your own photo and message.  All participants that raise $75 or more will take home an adorable plush puppy.  If you complete the challenge of raising $300 or more you will also take home a long-sleeved Guide Dog Foundation shirt.  The top fundraiser will receive an IPAD!
